The coaching staff of Cochuna AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amado Estebano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 32 minutes into the game, one of Cochuna AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Cardenales Tucumán RC's Enzo Gorka got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anacleto Behe. The Cardenales Tucumán RC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Cardenales Tucumán RC's Tadeo Endira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cochuna AFC's Anacleto Behe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Cochuna AFC from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Behe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Inautzi went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cardenales Tucumán RC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Endira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Neron's late challenge caught a Cardenales Tucumán RC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Neron helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cochuna AFC's Hilario Neron got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Cochuna AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Inautzi came free, but Anacleto Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cardenales Tucumán RC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
