Wessex's Raul Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Larpe in the 7th minute of play. Raul Gines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Quinton's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Raul Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Quinton in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Bath City getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Paolo Frascuelo hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Bath City's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Rufo came free, but Ruperto Paio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 19th minute when Melchor Rufo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Hugo Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maximino Quinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tobias Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bath City's zone, Denis Lohitzun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruperto Paio came out of the goal and Denis Lohitzun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Hugo Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Txilar struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ruperto Paio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wessex. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Larpe in the 74th minute of play forced Wessex's goalkeeper Raul Gines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tobias Larpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Gines was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Hugo Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ruperto Paio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Paio having to interfere. Ruperto Paio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Txilar in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Melchor Rufo made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Paio. Bath City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. There was no doubt that Wessex were the better team. Wessex's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
