Erasmo Lamberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonzo Espiridion came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Rauch's Alfonso Gauargi. But to his dismay, Alfonso Gauargi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Alfonso Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Erroman got free with Venancio Abaunza in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the C.A. Rauch defense, Modesto Erroman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Abaunza. The C.A. Rauch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Abaunza should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Alonzo Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alfonso Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the C.A. Rauch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Gauargi couldn't finish the play. If Alejandro Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, C.A. Rauch's Alejandro Balasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alfonso Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, C.A. Rauch's Alejandro Balasi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Espiridion was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, C.A. Rauch's goalkeeper Venancio Abaunza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Erroman. Thanks to some nice moves Modesto Erroman could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Venancio Abaunza however easily saved by the left post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Gauargi made a kick off. Alfonso Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Balasi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Espiridion was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Ausejo FC's zone, Alfonso Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Espiridion came out of the goal and Alfonso Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Alejandro Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Rauch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Balasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Balasi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alonzo Espiridion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Rauch. Alfonso Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Ausejo FC's Erasmo Lamberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
