Basilio Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Fanuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Mergildo's late challenge caught a Resistencia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Mergildo helped the player get up and apologised. Evelio Fanuco struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Basilio Pirmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia. TXI 1993's Basilio Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Rius in the 18th minute of play. Sebastian Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ulises Oidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Pirmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Mergildo got free with Anselmo Gagriel in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Errolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Oidor in the 45th minute of play forced TXI 1993's goalkeeper Basilio Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Enzo Belasko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Belasko to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia's zone, Sebastian Mergildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Gagriel came out of the goal and Sebastian Mergildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Pirmin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enzo Belasko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Sebastian Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TXI 1993's Basilio Pirmin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save TXI 1993 from getting a goal against them. Basilio Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Belasko in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Enzo Belasko made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Pirmin. TXI 1993's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Artemio Abadie was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Artemio Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Enzo Belasko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basilio Pirmin. That made the score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. The TXI 1993 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Resistencia's performance. The match ended with a win for Resistencia.
