Independiente FC's Danilo Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Balasi in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Rauch's Alejandro Balasi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danilo Ospin. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Alfonso Gauargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Danilo Ospin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente FC's zone, Clodoveo Jerardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Alfonso Gauargi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Danilo Ospin to make any attempt to save it. In the 39th match minute, Independiente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Quilo to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Balasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Ospin having to make a save. Alfonso Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Ospin having to interfere. When Alfonso Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the C.A. Rauch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Gauargi couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Gauargi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alejandro Balasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Ospin having to interfere. If Alejandro Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Balasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Ospin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Gauargi went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alejandro Balasi struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Danilo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Rauch. In the 81st minute, Alfonso Gauargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Raul Quilo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Alfonso Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Ospin having to interfere. C.A. When Candido Garin fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente FC's protests and gave Candido Garin a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Quilo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Quilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Independiente FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Quilo. When the referee ended the match the C.A. Rauch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
