Alonzo Espiridion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Machado in the 6th minute. Alonzo Espiridion made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Anier Machado sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Cereales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Lamberto came free, but Lázaro Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cereales AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Conrado Orlo hit a great ball. Julian Txanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Hartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Erasmo Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Hartz having to interfere. Eulalio Playo's late challenge caught a Cereales AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Playo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cereales AFC booed when Ausejo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Playo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ausejo FC's Alonzo Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Henry in the 27th minute of play. Erasmo Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Hartz having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Erasmo Lamberto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lázaro Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Lamberto in the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Ausejo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Basilio Henry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Espiridion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basilio Henry's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basilio Henry in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alonzo Espiridion saved Ausejo FC from getting behind. If Fidel Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erasmo Lamberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Hartz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Lamberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Basilio Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Espiridion having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Cereales AFC's Vladimiro Harkaitz tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.
