Rauch's goalkeeper Venancio Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia's zone, Alfonso Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Gagriel came out of the goal and Alfonso Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Anselmo Gagriel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Rauch. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Errolan during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Errolan hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Anselmo Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Balasi in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, C.A. Rauch's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Belasko came free, but Venancio Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Madaleno during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teo Madaleno hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes, Domingo Remigio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resistencia and the C.A. Rauch players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Remigio to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Fanuco in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alejandro Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Rauch's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Balasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Resistencia's Enzo Belasko got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Enzo Belasko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enzo Belasko made a kick off. C.A. Rauch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Ulises Oidor scored to the left of an out of position Venancio Abaunza, making the score, 1-1. Eustaquio Normando charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Normando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eustaquio Normando hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Resistencia's Ulises Oidor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Alfonso Gauargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Resistencia's Enzo Belasko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Evelio Fanuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute of the match Domingo Remigio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Abaunza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Resistencia's Edelmiro Natanael ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Venancio Abaunza. Venancio Abaunza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. If Alfonso Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Evelio Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Abaunza made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ulises Oidor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Belasko in the 96th minute of play forced C.A. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over C.A. Rauch's much stronger midfield.
