The supporters of Independiente FC booed when Ausejo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Cordarell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Erasmo Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ausejo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Lamberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Ospin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Ospin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Lamberto went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Erasmo Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ausejo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Lamberto couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Raul Quilo got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Erasmo Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Raul Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente FC and the Ausejo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Raul Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Quilo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Raul Quilo got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's Raul Quilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente FC's zone, Erasmo Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Ospin came out of the goal and Erasmo Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Independiente FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eulalio Playo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Erasmo Lamberto took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Danilo Ospin to make any attempt to save it. If Erasmo Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the last second Danilo Ospin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Lamberto in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Danilo Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Lamberto in the 71st minute of the match. Erasmo Lamberto struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Danilo Ospin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ausejo FC. Danilo Ospin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Lamberto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Erasmo Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes in the game, Erasmo Lamberto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danilo Ospin having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ausejo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Independiente FC.
