Spectators: 7306 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximo Caton kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Millonarios FC's Hugo Inge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Mano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Maximo Caton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 9th minute, Ovidio Olayo made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Mano. Club Atletico Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Francisco Pabla came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Talleres's Alberto Bazkoare. But to his dismay, Alberto Bazkoare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 21 played minutes Millonarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Egun. In the 26th minute, Club Atletico Talleres's Maximo Caton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Pabla. Francisco Pabla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Rafael Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Lluc in the 37th minute of play. Club Atletico Talleres's Rafael Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Olayo in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atletico Talleres! Club Atletico Talleres were furious when Rodolfo Itzaina was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 45th match minute, Club Atletico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Vinicio Lluc sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atletico Talleres's Rafael Mano didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinicio Lluc to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Egun in the 52nd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Egun came free, but Rafael Mano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Medero's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Medero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Millonarios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Medero to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes, Isidoro Galindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Talleres and the Millonarios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Club Atletico Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Galindo. 63 minutes into the game, Vinicio Lluc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Mano. Vinicio Lluc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. When Hugo Inge came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Millonarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Inge couldn't finish the play. In the 70thth minute of the game Vinicio Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Talleres's Rafael Mano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vinicio Lluc didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-6 via right post in the game's 72nd minute. Millonarios FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Rafael Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Egun in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinicio Lluc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Mano. That made the score 2-7 in the 80 minute of play. Rafael Mano was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Vinicio Lluc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vinicio Lluc really showed his touch with that goal: 2-8. Hugo Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Alberto Bazkoare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute, Vinicio Lluc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Millonarios FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Atletico Talleres.
