The tension between the Firsag FC and the La Armonía players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Firsag FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Evarado. After 12 played minutes La Armonía got a freekick which was hit by Teo Gaztea. When Cornelio Gustau came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Firsag FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornelio Gustau couldn't finish the play. Teo Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 minutes of play, Firsag FC's Aristides Tirso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Matro was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Aristides Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Gaztea got free with Evaristo Ledesma in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Firsag FC's Evaristo Ledesma got control of the ball when Teo Gaztea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Gustau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Matro having to make a save. Luis Araoz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Wilfredo Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Armonía's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Tximitx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Ledesma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Firsag FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Iliana. Teo Gaztea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Evaristo Ledesma made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Tirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godofredo Fernanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Jerico kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some careless play in the La Armonía defense, Cornelio Gustau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Matro. The La Armonía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Matro should have stopped the shot. After having played for 76 minutes, Teo Gaztea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Armonía's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Gaztea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Gaztea struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Evaristo Ledesma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Armonía. Roque Evarado hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Godofredo Fernanco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Armonía's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Firsag FC the free kick. The supporters of Firsag FC booed when La Armonía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Firsag FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Araoz. Wilfredo Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Ledesma having to interfere.
