The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lino Iratxo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Caldera F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lino Iratxo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave LuqePlate a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maximino Mikelar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Caldera F.C's Eliseo Fernandez. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Telmo in the 15th minute of play forced La Caldera F.C's goalkeeper Eliseo Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adan Matia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jorge Intxixu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Osvaldo Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Caldera F.C's protests and gave Osvaldo Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. Osvaldo Bartolome hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Claudio Cidro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Adan Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Caldera F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Matia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Intxixu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Ulises Elorri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LuqePlate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, Ulises Elorri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Fernandez. La Caldera F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Elorri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ulises Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Matia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Elorri in the 54th minute. Ulises Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eliseo Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Fernandez having to interfere. Fernando Telmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Telmo ran back to his position shaking his head. La Caldera F.C's Eliseo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Telmo in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LuqePlate's Erubiel Ostots got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ulises Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Fernandez having to interfere. Jorge Intxixu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Caldera F.C's Eliseo Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save La Caldera F.C from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, La Caldera F.C's Osvaldo Bartolome got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ulises Elorris short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Eliseo Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adan Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jorge Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, LuqePlate's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Matia came free, but Jorge Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LuqePlate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
