The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Indar during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ostende's Pedro Indar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingos Montes made a kick off. If Pedro Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Bittor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Ulizes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Bittor went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Recreativo los Incas's Ricardo Ulizes got control of the ball when Adan Bittor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ostende's Pedro Indar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Ricardo Ulizes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Bittor in the 81st minute. Tito Cuebas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ricardo Ulizes made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Pedro Indar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Indar in the 88th minute of play forced Recreativo los Incas's goalkeeper Ricardo Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Adan Bittor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Ulizes. Recreativo los Incas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Bittor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Ostende played a much better game than Recreativo los Incas and deserved their victory. The Recreativo los Incas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
