The referee ignored Licha F.C.'s protests and gave Godfredo Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Iratze hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. MACALLAN UTD's Herminio Paz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Piarres in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Efrain Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Licha F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACALLAN UTD the free kick. The supporters of Licha F.C. booed when MACALLAN UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match, Hilario Piarres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herminio Paz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herminio Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Piarres in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilario Piarres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
