Damian Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Piarres in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, MANONI's Maximino Ellande ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aquilino Loren. Aquilino Loren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Lopes in the 11th minute of play forced MANONI's goalkeeper Damian Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Ponciano having to interfere. If Vinicio Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Licha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Martxelin. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Maximino Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. MANONI's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Loren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Loren made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vinicio Tabb sent off a good shot on target. Damian Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Lopes in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MANONI's Evaristo Senio got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Geronimo Oskarbi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Braulio Lopes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Licha F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Ellande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MANONI booed when Licha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Fortun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geronimo Oskarbi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MANONI's protests and gave Geronimo Oskarbi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Licha F.C. booed when MANONI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, MANONI's Damian Ponciano got control of the ball when Braulio Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. MANONI's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, MANONI's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Piarres came free, but Damian Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play MANONI's Geronimo Oskarbi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Licha F.C. booed when MANONI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geronimo Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Licha F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Gorbea in the 80th minute. Braulio Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Damian Ponciano made a huge save. The Licha F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Licha F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
