Christan Vieri was a little too slow when Irinel Jienescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Haile Selassie getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Silvio Baumar hit a great ball. Eugenio Dominic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, DoLaR BluE's goalkeeper Christan Vieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Maties. The crowd rose to their feet as Haile Selassie's Arnoldo Cidro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christan Vieri. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Dante Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Manilan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Tartalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Jerardo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Arnoldo Cidro sped through DoLaR BluE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christan Vieri. 35 minutes into the match, DoLaR BluE's goalkeeper Christan Vieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Maties. After 37 played minutes Irinel Jienescu rounded DoLaR BluE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Christan Vieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Cidro in the 41st minute. 48 minutes into the match, Inocencio Dolfo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christan Vieri, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnoldo Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Cidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christan Vieri having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Arnoldo Cidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christan Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Dominic in the 61st minute of the match. DoLaR BluE's Christan Vieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sazon Buison in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Zacarias Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christan Vieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christan Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Jienescu in the 67th minute of the match. If Zacarias Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christan Vieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Cidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Haile Selassie's Dante Oinatz got control of the ball when Angel Manilan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Haile Selassie. Irinel Jienescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christan Vieri. 6-0. Irinel Jienescu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Christan Vieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haile Selassie. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DoLaR BluE! Arnoldo Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 101st match minute, DoLaR BluE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Haile Selassie were the better team. Haile Selassie's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
