Victoriano Heriberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Rencio having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, La Banda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Guilabertus came free, but Victorio Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorio Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Guilabertus in the 19th minute of the match. Pascual Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Pasto da Grama FC's Eugenio Rencio got control of the ball when Victoriano Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Banda FC's Victorio Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Guilabertus in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Luisito Nerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorio Polo. La Banda FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Nerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Luisito Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Luisito Nerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Lucero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Luisito Nerio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Victorio Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasto da Grama FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Guilabertus made a kick off. Pascual Guilabertus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Polo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Pascual Guilabertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Polo having to interfere. If Pascual Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Banda FC's Fernando Aballe got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Pascual Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Guilabertus struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Victorio Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasto da Grama FC. La Banda FC's Victorio Polo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save La Banda FC from getting a goal against them. Luisito Nerio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Victorio Polo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisito Nerio got free with Victorio Polo in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorio Polo came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pasto da Grama FC's Luisito Nerio. But to his dismay, Luisito Nerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Hernan Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Banda FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Stephen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Rencio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Gasteiz hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Hernan Stephen took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Rencio. Eugenio Rencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The La Banda FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pasto da Grama FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
