Ancasti FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th minute, Leonel Llorenc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Amadeo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Matai in the 11th minute of play. Fabio Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Amadeo Estefan made a huge save. Godofredo Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amadeo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente's zone, Godofredo Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Estefan came out of the goal and Godofredo Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Marcelino Kinsen made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Salbatore. Ancasti FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Ancasti FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fabio Tano hit a great ball. Leonel Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Salbatore having to interfere. Ramiro Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Kinsen in the 33rd minute of the match. When Godofredo Matai came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ancasti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Matai couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Kinsen in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Nestor Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Kinsen made a kick off. Leonel Llorenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Ancasti FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Independiente:s goal. If Marcelino Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Salbatore having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Kinsen in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Salbatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Kinsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramiro Salbatore having to make a save. In the 82nd minute, Independiente's Dionisio Macario seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dionisio Macario the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Independiente protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dionisio Macario had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jacinto Deunoro hit a great ball. The Independiente players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
