Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Modesto Clemencin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Jienescu in the 7th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Marco Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candelaria FC's Marco Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Jienescu in the 9th minute of play. Dante Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Clemencin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Haile Selassie's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Clemencin came free, but Dante Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Marcos Laurgain sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Oinatz skillfully saved the ball. Haile Selassie's Dante Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Clemencin in the 17th minute of play. Irinel Jienescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marco Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Leon Niva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Oinatz was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Dante Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Clemencin in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match, Eugenio Dominic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Macerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 43 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Lia. Marco Macerio made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Zacarias Maties sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Candelaria FC's Marco Macerio got control of the ball when Arnoldo Cidro tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Cidro was the one to do the kick off. Marco Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Jienescu in the 51st minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Modesto Clemencin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haile Selassie's Dante Oinatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Modesto Clemencin during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Cidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Macerio was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Irinel Jienescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Macerio having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Haile Selassie got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Dolfo. After 73 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Niva. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Arnoldo Cidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haile Selassie's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Cidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Macerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Haile Selassie's Dante Oinatz got control of the ball when Leon Niva tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Cidro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Macerio. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Cidro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Irinel Jienescu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Haile Selassie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Jienescu couldn't finish the play. Marco Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Maties in the 84th minute of the match. Irinel Jienescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marco Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Macerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Cidro's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Marco Macerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Dominic went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Arnoldo Cidro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Marco Macerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haile Selassie. When the referee ended the match the Haile Selassie players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
