The Vilo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cresconio in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Guifre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Llorenc took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Guifre. Baldomero Guifre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Oliviero in the 27th minute of play forced Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Baldomero Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Quilo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute Roberto Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Guifre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Quilo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Robustiano Isadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranquelcó. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Llorenc in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Guifre saved Ranquelcó from getting behind. After the first half Vilo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Ranquelcó's zone, Jose Oliviero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Guifre came out of the goal and Jose Oliviero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Enrique Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Guifre made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jose Oliviero sent off a good shot on target. Enrique Cresconio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Baldomero Guifre made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Baldomero Guifre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Cresconio. In the 80th match minute, Ranquelcó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Elequemedo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 81 minutes, Vinicio Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Llorenc in the 83rd minute of play forced Ranquelcó's goalkeeper Baldomero Guifre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Jose Oliviero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Guifre. Ranquelcó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The audience was convinced that Uriel Ourente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Guifre was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When Enrique Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Vilo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Cresconio couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Ranquelcó fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vilo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
