Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Federico Martinez got the match started through his kick off. Durazno FC's Freddy Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Azubeli in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Francisco Cordarin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno FC and the Suex FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Francisco Cordarin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Durazno FC's Freddy Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Azubeli in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Alfredo Gaxan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Martinez in the 11th minute of play. Edgardo Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Martinez in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Suex FC's zone, Alfredo Gaxan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Abel came out of the goal and Alfredo Gaxan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Gaxan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Gaxan in the 23rd minute of play forced Suex FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Freddy Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Gaxan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Abel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Freddy Gaizko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Azubeli in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Durazno FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cristian Solustiano hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Adan Azubeli took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Gaizko. Freddy Gaizko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alfredo Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Edgardo Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's Federico Martinez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredo Gaxan came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Durazno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Gaxan couldn't finish the play. Federico Martinez succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Azubeli in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Gaizko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Azubeli struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Freddy Gaizko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suex FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Martinez in the 87th minute of play forced Suex FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Durazno FC's Federico Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Gaxan got free with Edgardo Abel in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno FC's zone, Adan Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Gaizko came out of the goal and Adan Azubeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
