After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Lino Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. RONA's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Platon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Celino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Piarres in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Villa Alem de Tucuman booed when F.C. RONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The Villa Alem de Tucuman fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Villa Alem de Tucuman's Paolo Nabar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Hever's late challenge caught a F.C. RONA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Hever helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Efrain Hever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lino Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Celino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, F.C. RONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Fe to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Locaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Nofre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauricio Locaio ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the game, Eulalio Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. RONA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Alem de Tucuman the free kick. After a rather tough play, F.C. RONA's Eulalio Francho got a free kick in the 75th minute. Marcial Nofre came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Alem de Tucuman's Anastasio Pacorro. But to his dismay, Anastasio Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Villa Alem de Tucuman's Mauricio Locaio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Villa Alem de Tucuman booed when F.C. RONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th match minute, Villa Alem de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Villa Alem de Tucuman's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
