After a defensive mix-up in Cajas AFC's zone, Federico Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Gaur came out of the goal and Federico Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alfredo Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Solustiano to maneuver through the defense. Teobaldo Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosme Ondino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Gaur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Gaxan in the 52nd minute. Alfredo Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Gaur having to interfere. If Francisco Cordarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Martinez in the 58th minute of play forced Cajas AFC's goalkeeper Domingos Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfredo Gaxan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Durazno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Gaxan couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Durazno FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cajas AFC:s goal. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Cajas AFC. Gervasio Lleir stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Freddy Gaizko. 1-0. Teobaldo Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Gaizko having to interfere. Federico Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Domingos Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Gaur came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Durazno FC's Alfredo Gaxan. But to his dismay, Alfredo Gaxan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Cajas AFC booed when Durazno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Martinez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
