The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Txaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodosio Kepa's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Santo Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Txaran having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Santo Mederi made a precise shot to the right of David Txaran. Romang's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Pablo Txindoki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tablillas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Romang's Pablo Txindoki got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Teodosio Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Olayo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Olayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Armando Olayo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jairo Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Santo Mederi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Txaran having to interfere. Santo Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tablillas's Jonas Mitxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Tablillas from getting a goal against them. Santo Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Mederi struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. David Txaran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tablillas. The Romang players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tablillas were winning 0-2.

Santo Mederi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but David Txaran made a huge save. After 60 played minutes Tablillas got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Refugio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Mederi got free with David Txaran in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Santo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tablillas's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Txaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonas Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tablillas booed when Romang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Llanos scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Mitxel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Romang getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lucas Llanos hit a great ball. Jonas Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Llanos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tablillas's Teodosio Kepa got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Romang's Filiberto Leobardo, in the 93rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Romang. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Llanos in the 95th minute of play forced Tablillas's goalkeeper Jonas Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
