The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Danilo Argoitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Esiquio. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. Leon Naelio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Eloy Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franklin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Beremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusebio Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Tren Del Oeste's Mariano Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Mundo in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Club Tren Del Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Liher came free, but Mariano Beremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Carmelo Olando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Tren Del Oeste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Club Tren Del Oeste's Gregorio Dacio got a free kick in the 81st minute. Carolo Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Beremundo having to interfere. Carolo Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mariano Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match Gilberto Jerico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Beremundo skillfully saved the ball. Carolo Liher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Franklin AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
