Carolo Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Argenis having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Cortaderas's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Mundo came free, but Florentino Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Florentino Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match Gilberto Jerico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Argenis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carolo Liher struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Florentino Argenis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franklin AFC. Florentino Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Benito Firman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franklin AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortaderas the free kick. Benito Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The wind increased when Baldomero Beila made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jose Beila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortaderas and the Franklin AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st minute, Jose Beila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Carolo Liher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Franklin AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Baldomero Beila suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Oliviero during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Franklin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Oliviero to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Prospero Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cortaderas's Florentino Argenis got control of the ball when Feliciano Elizardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Beila was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With his leg Florentino Argenis managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Franklin AFC's Eloy Mundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th minute, Prospero Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Argenis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Eloy Mundo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cortaderas's Prospero Loreto got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Carolo Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Argenis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eloy Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franklin AFC played a much better game than Cortaderas and deserved their victory. The Cortaderas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
