A beautiful save bye Cuesta's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Balasi kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Edgardo Isias, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cesar Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eleuterio Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuesta's zone, Honorato Videl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Frans came out of the goal and Honorato Videl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leo Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Jacindo in the 21st minute of play. Leo Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Videl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cuesta's Cesar Egoi got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Honorato Videl came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the PEPSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Videl couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Victorio Jacindo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leo Frans. Leo Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Jacindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Endura hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Victorio Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Jacindo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to PEPSA getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Jorge Balasi hit a great ball. In the 53rd match minute, PEPSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Jacindo to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Videl kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Honorato Videl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Victorio Jacindo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leo Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Jacindo in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Victorio Jacindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leo Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victorio Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Frans having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cuesta's zone, Jorge Balasi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Frans came out of the goal and Jorge Balasi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, PEPSA's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Egoi came free, but Eleuterio Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Balasi's late challenge caught a Cuesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Balasi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Honorato Videl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEPSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. PEPSA's Honorato Videl got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, one of Cuesta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute, Cuesta's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Honorato Videl fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Honorato Videl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Frans having to interfere. PEPSA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
