An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Frichoso in the 5th minute of play forced Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Ismael Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Chus having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Perico got free with Leo Frans in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ismael Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Frans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Perico in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Cuesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Jakes to maneuver through the defense. Leo Frans made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Antonio Perico sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Perico struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Leo Frans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Mandiyu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Egoi to make the kick off. Cesar Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ismael Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo Mandiyu's Ismael Chus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Mandiyu from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Cesar Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Chus was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Ismael Chus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Frichoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Chus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Frichoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Chago hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 97th minute, but Ismael Chus got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Deportivo Mandiyu hanging dry this time. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuesta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Mandiyu.
