Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) PEPSA's Victorio Jacindo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Honorato Videl managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEPSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Videl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Videl in the 4th minute of play forced Lakers's goalkeeper Nicasio Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Federico Umbruso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Gar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victorio Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Gar having to interfere. Lakers's Nicasio Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Videl in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Jacindo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Gar saved Lakers from getting behind. Nicasio Gar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cesar Columbo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Columbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cesar Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PEPSA's zone, Gerardo Medero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Chano came out of the goal and Gerardo Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Tadeo Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Victorio Jacindo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lakers's Nicasio Gar. Nicasio Gar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Honorato Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Gar came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by PEPSA's Honorato Videl. But to his dismay, Honorato Videl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Generoso Arano's late challenge caught a PEPSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Arano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Domingos Cerilo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lakers's Nicasio Gar didn't even have to move. In the 42nd match minute, Lakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Joanes to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Jacindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Nicasio Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lakers defense, Honorato Videl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Gar. The Lakers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Gar should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Blasi to make the kick off. Honorato Videl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nicasio Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Desiderio Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PEPSA's Amado Endura couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lakers. When Amancio Oinaz fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lakers's protests and gave Amancio Oinaz a yellow card for diving instead. Honorato Videl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nicasio Gar made a huge save. After having played for 70 minutes, Victorio Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEPSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Jacindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Balasi during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Jorge Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes, Fidel Incendio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEPSA and the Lakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fidel Incendio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorio Jacindo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Gar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Generoso Arano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Chano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Nicasio Gar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Benjamin Rencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lakers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEPSA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lakers's Benjamin Rencio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Honorato Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PEPSA played a much better game than Lakers and deserved their victory. The Lakers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
