In the 24th minute, Cristo Rocendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gobernador Costa F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Fernandes in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Feliz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Chilim Balam's goalkeeper Oscar Feliz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play forced Sportivo Chilim Balam's goalkeeper Oscar Feliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sportivo Chilim Balam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Asur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Sportivo Chilim Balam's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Chano came free, but Oscar Feliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aureliano Ieltxu made a huge save. After having played for 45 minutes, Aristides Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gobernador Costa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Chilim Balam's Oscar Feliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Chano in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fabian Locaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Oscar Feliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Oscar Feliz managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aristides Fernandes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oscar Feliz came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Fernandes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 59th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Sportivo Chilim Balam's Alvaro Itzaina made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Ieltxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 74 in the game by Aristides Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Oscar Feliz managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Chilim Balam's players were relieved. In the 78th play minute Aristides Fernandes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oscar Feliz. 1-6. After a rather tough play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes got a free kick in the 80th minute. Oscar Feliz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gobernador Costa F.C's Aristides Fernandes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-7 in the ordered_time% minute.
