In the 15thth minute of the game Godofredo Blasi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but elasmopalpus's Santo Rito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Cidro during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arturo Cidro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lakers's Nicasio Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Elazar in the 22nd minute of play. elasmopalpus were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Lakers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristobal Katia took the corner. Lakers's Nicasio Gar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Lakers from getting a goal against them. Romulo Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nicasio Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Santo Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Bernabel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Elvio George charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio George the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elvio George kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Romulo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Lakers's Godofredo Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Rito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lakers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
