Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso Calvino started the match with the kick off. Bruno Abechuco's late challenge caught a Macapillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Bruno Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Bruno Sedeni from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Oscar Feliz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Faustino Laurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Oscar Feliz made a huge save. With a little luck, Sportivo Chilim Balam's Oscar Feliz got control of the ball when Aurelio Vergaray tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Macapillo FC's Celso Calvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Feliz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Elodio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Itzaina went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Aurelio Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Oscar Feliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sportivo Chilim Balam's Oscar Feliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Chilim Balam from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Robustiano Pepillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 30 in the game by Aurelio Vergaray from a close distance when the talented Oscar Feliz managed to make a qualified save. Sportivo Chilim Balam's players were relieved. 32 minutes into the match, Macapillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Itzaina came free, but Edgardo Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Macapillo FC's Faustino Laurin got a free kick in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Celso Calvino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oscar Feliz, 1-2. A collision led to Sportivo Chilim Balam getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Baltasar Orlin hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Igor Dei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Dei struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Edgardo Elodio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Chilim Balam. After 54 played minutes, Sportivo Chilim Balam's Mauro Lopez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgardo Elodio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Chilim Balam reached it. Oscar Feliz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Calvino went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Celso Calvino might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Feliz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Calvino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Chilim Balam's Hernan Fraco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bruno Sedeni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Aurelio Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macapillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Vergaray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
