Candido Inautzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aristides Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Inautzi having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cristo Rocendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Raulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Ieltxu having to interfere. Gobernador Costa F.C's Aureliano Ieltxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Raulo in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Victorio Chano struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Candido Inautzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gobernador Costa F.C. After a rather tough play, Gobernador Costa F.C's Herminio Abel got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo Mandiyu's goalkeeper Candido Inautzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute Aristides Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Luix charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Luix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Deportivo Mandiyu! Gervasio Gonzales hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Aristides Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Inautzi having to interfere. When Segundo Sabino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gobernador Costa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Sabino couldn't finish the play. Club Deportivo Mandiyu's Candido Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Chano in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gobernador Costa F.C had played much better football throughout.
