Spectators: 7093 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cesar Egoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Lakers booed when Cuesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Gar made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Gabriel Frichoso sent off a good shot on target. Lakers's Nicasio Gar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Lakers from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Amancio Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesar Egoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicasio Gar. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 19th minute Godofredo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Frans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gabriel Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Gar having to interfere. Lakers's Amancio Oinaz got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Amancio Oinaz off the ground. After a rather tough play, Lakers's Amancio Oinaz got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Lakers defense, Gabriel Frichoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Gar. The Lakers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Gar should have stopped the shot. Leo Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Cesar Egoi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicasio Gar, passed just outside the right post. Gabriel Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerardo Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Medero was the one to do the kick off. Leo Frans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Joanes in the 51st minute. Cesar Egoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Gar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Egoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Jakes might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Gar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Jakes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Cesar Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cuesta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Egoi couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nicasio Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Godofredo Blasi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Leo Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gerardo Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lakers's Desiderio Baldovino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes, Cuesta's Edgardo Isias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicasio Gar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuesta reached it. After having played for 93 minutes, Cesar Egoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuesta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Egoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cuesta were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
