Bruno Sedeni, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celso Calvino in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Chano saved PEPSA from getting behind. A collision led to PEPSA getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cesar Columbo hit a great ball. The PEPSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Calvino was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes PEPSA got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Locaio. Aurelio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, PEPSA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Vergaray came free, but Eleuterio Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Domingos Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Aurelio Vergaray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Macapillo FC's Edgardo Elodio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Jacindo in the 59th minute of play. Aurelio Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Chano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Victorio Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes PEPSA got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Balasi. PEPSA's Eleuterio Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Calvino in the 74th minute of play.
