But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Terciero couldn't finish the play. A long shot from Hector Salvator in the 13th minute of play was well struck, but Cipriano Cidro made a really good save at the right post. Cipriano Cidro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Bermudo in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Francisco Resto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Berdoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Resto might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Berdoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Resto ran back to his position shaking his head. Iker Tauro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Mauricio Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agus Plate. The supporters of Agus Plate booed when DE LEON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Cidro having to interfere. When Feliberto Haimar fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Agus Plate's protests and gave Feliberto Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Feliberto Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, DE LEON FC's Hector Salvator broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 48 minutes into the game, Leonardo Rutenio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agus Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DE LEON FC the free kick. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Agus Plate! The goalkeeper, Cipriano Cidro, was totally fooled by DE LEON FC's Hector Salvator, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Cipriano Cidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Tiburcio Bermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DE LEON FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 62nd minute, German Terciero made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Cidro. Agus Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Basilio Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Bermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cipriano Cidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Resto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauricio Berdoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Resto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Agus Plate's Armando Montes got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tiburcio Bermudo took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Cidro. Cipriano Cidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Tiburcio Gar fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DE LEON FC's protests and gave Tiburcio Gar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DE LEON FC's Tiburcio Gar got a free kick in the 87th minute. German Terciero charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Terciero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The DE LEON FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agus Plate had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
