In the 11th match minute, Lunarejos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Escobar to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Abeijon was a little too slow when Silvio Mantzio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Marcelo Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Lunarejos FC's Silvio Mantzio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horacio Abeijon. Horacio Abeijon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Aldo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lunarejos FC booed when Ñorquín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Kinsen got free with Horacio Abeijon in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Claus having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Lunarejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Bero came free, but Ignacio Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Lunarejos FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Aldo Urbasa hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ñorquín's Angelo Quico tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Genaro Bero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ignacio Claus, passed just outside the right post. In the 80th minute Marcelo Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Kinsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Abeijon having to make a save. 84 minutes into the game, Lunarejos FC's Silvio Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Abeijon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After having played for 89 minutes, Marcelo Kinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lunarejos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Kinsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Marcelo Kinsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunarejos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Kinsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Abeijon having to interfere. Ñorquín's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
