Aldo Urbasa charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Urbasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes Lunarejos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Urbasa. Ignacio Claus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Diegotxe's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Aldo Urbasa was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Oscar Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13th play minutes Marcos Diegotxe shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ignacio Claus and just under the crossbar into goal. Gaudencio Restu charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaudencio Restu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaudencio Restu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jonas Cristofol scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eleuterio Tiso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, SABALERO's Eleuterio Tiso got control of the ball when Marcelo Kinsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Oscar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Mantzio hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on SABALERO's corner Marcos Diegotxe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ignacio Claus quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Oscar Batista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Claus was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The supporters of Lunarejos FC booed when SABALERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Kinsen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Diegotxe in the 52nd minute of play forced Lunarejos FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Lunarejos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Batista came free, but Ignacio Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, SABALERO's Marcos Diegotxe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 59 minutes into the match, Lunarejos FC's goalkeeper Ignacio Claus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Restu. Oscar Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ignacio Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SABALERO's Gaudencio Restu has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Lunarejos FC's Teodosio Escobar got a free kick in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lunarejos FC's zone, Vicente Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Claus came out of the goal and Vicente Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Batista in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Claus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Albino Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Restu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Lunarejos FC's Ignacio Claus got control of the ball when Gaudencio Restu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Gaudencio Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SABALERO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Guaberto Montes struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ignacio Claus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SABALERO. SABALERO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
