Spectators: 6458 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Sarracino started the match with the kick off. Aráoz's Cesar Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Sarracino in the 4th minute of play. Evaristo Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cesar Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Celso Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Benedicto Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Txaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pintos's Celso Abar in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aráoz's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Pintos's Celso Abar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Iratxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alberto Peru hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Cesar Iratxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Evaristo Sarracino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Evaristo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th match minute, Aráoz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Abel to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Guter was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Aráoz booed when Pintos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Baleren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Aráoz's goalkeeper Cesar Iratxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Abar. If Evaristo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pintos booed when Aráoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aráoz's Cesar Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Sarracino in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Sarracino in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Iratxo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Abar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cesar Iratxo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Aráoz's zone, Evaristo Sarracino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Iratxo came out of the goal and Evaristo Sarracino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Evaristo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celso Abar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Abar got free with Cesar Iratxo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Iratxo having to interfere. The supporters of Pintos booed when Aráoz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aráoz's Cesar Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Sarracino in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Sarracino in the 97th minute of play forced Aráoz's goalkeeper Cesar Iratxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Pintos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aráoz throughout the match.
