Ernesto Eron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ramon Matxin charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. Placido Jerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Tristan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Cronicos FC's Basilio Oton made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Jerano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Jerano having to interfere. When Ernesto Eron came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cronicos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Eron couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Gar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cronicos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Tristan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 96th minute, Daniel Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cronicos FC fully deserved thier win.
