Celso Abar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Misael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Desiderio Misael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Celso Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pintos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Sarracino in the 16th minute of play. Baltasar Ramond hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Pintos were awarded a corner. Erubiel Gorri went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Pintos's Erubiel Gorri to fire away a dangerous shot which Desiderio Misael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Desiderio Misael came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Pintos's Evaristo Sarracino. But to his dismay, Evaristo Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Evaristo Sarracino came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pintos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Sarracino couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Misael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Abar in the 37th minute of the match. Celso Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Misael having to interfere. El Canaya Fc's Desiderio Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Abar in the 41st minute of play. Ricardo Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Pintos's Celso Abar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Misael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The El Canaya Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pintos were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Paulin to make the kick off. Evaristo Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Desiderio Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Celso Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Abar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Misael when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, one of El Canaya Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Desiderio Misael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Abar in the 70th minute. When Anier Vela came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the El Canaya Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Vela couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anier Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Sarracino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricardo Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Pintos's Evaristo Sarracino in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Canaya Fc's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celso Abar got free with Desiderio Misael in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Turi might have been able to make a better finish in the 100th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Misael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Turi ran back to his position shaking his head. 101 minutes into the match, Pintos's Evaristo Sarracino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Misael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pintos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
