Amadeo Tadzio hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Rius came free, but Placido Jerano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Armando Erlantz. 12 minutes into the match, ROMAN-TICOS's Cesar Solustiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Placido Jerano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Fermin Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boca Juniors's Placido Jerano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Endira in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Endira in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Placido Jerano saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Narciso Gar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Dominix having to interfere. If Javier Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Unai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ambrosio Dominix made a huge save. In the 38th minute, one of ROMAN-TICOS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ROMAN-TICOS. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Boca Juniors's Amadeo Tadzio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ambrosio Dominix. Javier Unai struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ambrosio Dominix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. A very good chance. In the 57th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Berto to maneuver through the defense.
