After 12 played minutes Aráoz got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Jakes. If Benedicto Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Ambrosio Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Erubiel Soter came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the ROMAN-TICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Soter couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Cesar Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Txaran in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Dominix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Benedicto Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Dominix. ROMAN-TICOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cesar Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cesar Iratxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROMAN-TICOS. If Gogo Endira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Julio Txaran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ambrosio Dominix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to ROMAN-TICOS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fermin Rius hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Julio Txaran made a precise shot to the right of Ambrosio Dominix. ROMAN-TICOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Aráoz getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Leonardo Semeno hit a great ball. During the 69th minute of the match Isidro Jerrald completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isidro Jerrald a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Aráoz booed when ROMAN-TICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. ROMAN-TICOS's Cesar Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Dominix made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Julio Txaran sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Julio Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aráoz's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Txaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Dominix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Benedicto Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Gogo Endira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Solustiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Iratxo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Cesar Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cesar Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aráoz defense, Cesar Solustiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Iratxo. The Aráoz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Iratxo should have stopped the shot. Erubiel Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ROMAN-TICOS's much stronger midfield.
