In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Portugues F C's goalkeeper Fernando Otsoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabricio Lorenz had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernando Urbez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Jeremias Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Portugues F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Ur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Lorenz having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Senen made a kick off. Bernardo Ur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Fabricio Lorenz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabricio Lorenz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgilio Senen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 53 minute of play. Miguel Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Bernardo Ur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabricio Lorenz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. It was a penalty for El Portugues F C! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgilio Senen in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabricio Lorenz saved Los diablos rojos from getting behind. Fabricio Lorenz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The supporters of El Portugues F C booed when Los diablos rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Quintun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bernardo Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded El Portugues F C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los diablos rojos.
