The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Benedicto Marz put in a rough tackle. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Florida! Federico Sarracino shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Clemente Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Niva in the 25th minute of play. Samuel Fagildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Adan Niva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florida's Clemente Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Niva in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabricio Lore stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Lore struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Clemente Eder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabred. A collision led to Florida getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Albano Kimetz hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Cabred were awarded a corner. Federico Sarracino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Cabred's corner Federico Sarracino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clemente Eder quite easily take care of the ball. Fabricio Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Niva got free with Clemente Eder in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Cabred fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Gasteiz should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Samuel Fagildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fabricio Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Florida had won after a very even match.
