Vialidad's Gaudencio Lander got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Gaston Gizon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gaudencio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Etxekopar having to interfere. Rodolfo Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Silvestre Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Gizon in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Celedonio Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Córdoba United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vialidad the free kick. The supporters of Vialidad booed when Córdoba United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Córdoba United FC's zone, Gaudencio Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Etxekopar came out of the goal and Gaudencio Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Etxekopar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Gizon, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Gaudencio Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vialidad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
