Studiants's Jeremias Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Gizon in the 8th minute of play. Jeremias Odol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lander in the 10th minute of the match. When Aldo Oxarra was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Gaudencio Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Odol having to interfere. When the match was over Vialidad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Studiants throughout the match.
