Prudencio Barrionuevo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosendo Txordon. Hooligans's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomero Teofilio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hooligans's Rosendo Txordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Bertin in the 22nd minute of play. Americo Ezkerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Herena in the 25th minute of the match. Guaberto Mino took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Txordon. Rosendo Txordon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rosendo Txordon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Bertin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Baldomero Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Jerrald during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pituil AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gregorio Jerrald hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the game, Gaspar Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hooligans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pituil AFC the free kick. Guaberto Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Guaberto Mino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Hooligans's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guaberto Mino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Hooligans's Rosendo Txordon got control of the ball when Guaberto Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pituil AFC's Guaberto Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hooligans's Baldomero Teofilio got a free kick in the 68th minute. Prudencio Barrionuevo, 68 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guaberto Mino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the game, Guaberto Mino lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Rosendo Txordon. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hooligans's goalkeeper Rosendo Txordon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rosendo Txordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fernan Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Mino got free with Rosendo Txordon in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
