Braulio Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, FC Sonata's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Veremundo came free, but Braulio Admon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Enol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Elias Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, social y deportivo's Genaro Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Omar Lohitzun, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Higinio Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Denis Urdin sped through FC Sonata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Braulio Admon. Benigno Enol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Horado having to make a save. After 46 minutes, Jonatan Urritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sonata and the social y deportivo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Urritz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Bibiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jonatan Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Enol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Horado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Elias Horado came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sonata's Benigno Enol. But to his dismay, Benigno Enol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Higinio Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Elias Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, FC Sonata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Felix Veremundo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Braulio Admon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for social y deportivo. After some careless play in the social y deportivo defense, Higinio Bibiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Horado. The social y deportivo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Horado should have stopped the shot. Hugo Polo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Felix Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
