An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Medardo in the 31st minute of play forced Hooligans's goalkeeper Rosendo Txordon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Saul Herena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hooligans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivadavia de Junin the free kick. The supporters of Rivadavia de Junin booed when Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rivadavia de Junin's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Jurgi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Txordon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Txordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Silvano Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Txordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Aristides Arnau's late challenge caught a Rivadavia de Junin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristides Arnau helped the player get up and apologised. Aristides Arnau kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Baldomero Teofilio struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Narciso Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hooligans. After a rather tough play, Hooligans's Baldomero Teofilio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hooligans had won after a very even match.
