In the 10thth minute of the game Marcelo Egun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchame Posho's Ramon Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Lázaro Etxekopar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuchame Posho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocho AFC the free kick. The supporters of Pocho AFC booed when Cuchame Posho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Etxekopar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Pere's late challenge caught a Pocho AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Pere helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Cuchame Posho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Pere to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Joachim charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Joachim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pocho AFC booed when Cuchame Posho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Llin in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Iker Lesardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Diegotxe hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ramon Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Lucas Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Llin was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Juan Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuchame Posho's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Fagildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
